FLAGS MARKERS
109 Row Marking Flag- 30" long. Rust resistant 3/16" dia. steel. Easy to see. 3 1/2"" x 4 1/2" no tear flag. Fluorescent orange, yellow, hot pink or white color. Ideal for organized picking in strawberry and other fruit and vegetable patches. Encourages clean picked rows. Also great for marking small plants or seedling trees. Stakes are .19" diameter steel rod 30" long and zinc plated for rust resistance. A one inch safety loop on top of flag is welded to stem of flag. The flag slips into loops on the carrier handle during harvesting. Due to is easy accessibility the flag reminds the picker to replace row markers where picking was completed. Helps get the field picked clean.

BIRDSCARE THE HUMANE WAY
Are you losing your crop to the birds? Our brilliant silver and red colored strong mylar ribbon protects fruit crops from ground and air bird attack. The strong bird scare flashribbons #423 and #460 are 7/16" wide, shiny red on one side, shiny silver on the other, on rolls 290 feet long. It works with exceptional results (75-95 percent protection), keeping birds way from your crop long enough to harvest. The flashing red and silver spiraled ribbons' movement in the wind apparently signals danger to the birds, perhaps representing fire to them. Row fruit crops need to have ribbon applied above every second or third row to be most effective. We recommend using our 30" row marker (#109) or 70" row marker (#110) to hold the ribbon above the crops. Individual fruit trees can be decorated in Christmas tree style garlands by twisting the ribbons around, over and through them. For best results, put flash ribbon up just before crop starts to ripen so the birds don't become accustomed to its presence over a period of time. Remove it just as soon as the crop is harvested.

424, 425, 426 Balloon Scare-Eye, 16" diameter. Hang the Scare-Eye from trees or long poles to scare away flocks of nuisance birds who are repelled by its bright color and unusual design. The eyes exaggerate the glaring eyes and gaping mouth of a predator bird. Its waving streamers, bobbing and weaving motion simulate a live predator bird which frightens nuisance birds immediately. Put them out several weeks before you are ready to pick the crop and take them down after harvesting to use again next year. Research shows maximum effectiveness is obtained by rotating the three colors. No color should be used more than three weeks or they will lose their effectiveness. Scare-Eyes are effective with all species of birds except robins. Four to eight balloons per acre is recommended. Colors: (424 - yellow)-(425 - white)-(426 - black)
